New High Temp Powder Range.
As well as offering the high temp Cerakote ceramic coating range, we now offer these new high temp powders too. Granted, they can not perform to the superior high temperatures as the Cerakote, but they definitely have a place in the market!
If you have an old exhaust system that is rusted and pitted, and does not need the 1000°C rating of the Cerakote. Then these powders are awesome as you will get a much nicer aesthetic than seeing the pitted base under the ceramic with being such a thin coating.
Saying that, there is also the fact that they are just really nice textured colour's that could be used on any project!
Camo - Cerakote ceramic coating
We were asked to ceramic coat this rifle body for a client in a camo effect..... This was the end result!
This client also bought us another rifle for coating.
The colour's used for these AR15 Airsoft parts were Graphite black and Dessert sand.
Fuel tank restoration
We had a client with a rare fuel tank that was extremely rusted internally. We used an electrolysis system to remove the rust before giving it a full refurb.
This is the initial state of the inside of the tank.
We had to remove the ends of the tank for better access.
The exterior is now media blasted, and we cut new ends and welded them back on as the old material had become quite thin. The second pic is after spending a long time in the oven de-gassing, ready to be powder coated.
After a couple of cycles in the electrolysis tank, it is looking super clean! We were amazed at how much rust was removed. A rust inhibitor was now applied .
