Camo - Cerakote ceramic coating
We were asked to ceramic coat this rifle body for a client in a camo effect..... This was the end result!
This client also bought us another rifle for coating.
The colours used for these AR15 parts were Graphite black and Dessert sand. Hopefully we will get some pictures of it all back together.... Watch this space!
Fuel tank restoration
We had a client with a rare fuel tank that was extremely rusted internally. We used an electrolysis system to remove the rust before giving it a full refurb.
This is the initial state of the inside of the tank.
We had to remove the ends of the tank for better access.
The exterior is now media blasted, and we cut new ends and welded them back on as the old material had become quite thin. The second pic is after spending a long time in the oven de-gassing, ready to be powder coated.
After a couple of cycles in the electrolysis tank, it is looking super clean! We were amazed at how much rust was removed. A rust inhibitor was now applied .
Fresh out of the oven after a Satin black electrostatic powder coat. Hopefully now this tank will live on for many more years. 🤞
